Simplify the following:
2+2/5-(1+1/3)+3+1/2

Put 1+1/3 over the common denominator 3. 1+1/3  =  3/3+1/3:
2+2/5-3/3+1/3+3+1/2

3/3+1/3  =  (3+1)/3:
2+2/5-(3+1)/3+3+1/2

3+1 = 4:
2+2/5-4/3+3+1/2

Put 2+2/5-4/3+3+1/2 over the common denominator 30. 2+2/5-4/3+3+1/2  =  (30×2)/30+(6×2)/30+(10 (-4))/30+(30×3)/30+15/30:
(30×2)/30+(6×2)/30+(10 (-4))/30+(30×3)/30+15/30

30×2  =  60:
60/30+(6×2)/30+(10 (-4))/30+(30×3)/30+15/30

6×2  =  12:
60/30+12/30+(10 (-4))/30+(30×3)/30+15/30

10 (-4)  =  -40:
60/30+12/30+-40/30+(30×3)/30+15/30

30×3  =  90:
60/30+12/30-40/30+90/30+15/30

60/30+12/30-(40)/30+90/30+15/30  =  (60+12-40+90+15)/30:
(60+12-40+90+15)/30
