Do you mean that they collected 87 peices each or 87 pieces altogether?

All the lollies put together is 100%
If Suzie gets 13% John gets the rest which will be 100-13% = 87%

So if there are 87 lollies altogether, John gets 87% of 87 = 87/100*87 = 75.69 lollies
