x^2 + 2xsqrty + y = 50 + 14 sqrt y             You have one equation and two variables.   DO you have another eqaution relating x and y?

One possible solution would be

x^2 +y = 50

and    2x sqrty = 14 sqrty      so x = 7      then y = 1 (from first equation)
