A scale model of a statue has a height of 15 cm.
The real statue has a height of 1.8 m.
The model and statue are both made of the same stone which has a density of 2.5 g/cm3.
The mass of the real statue is 432 kg.

1.8 m  =   180 cm

432 kg   =  432,000  g

Mass   =  Density  *   Volume

432,000 g  =  2.5 g/ cm^3  *  Volume

(432,000) / (2.5)  cm^3  =  172800 cm^3  =  Volume  of real  thing

The scale  factor  of the model  to the real thing  is    15 / 180 =  1/12

Volume of model  =

Volume of real thing  *   scale factor^3   =

172800  *  ( 1/12)^3   =  100 cm^3
