Use the distributive property to multiply through both of the terms then simplify:

3(-2f+1)  =    -6f +3

7(f-3)     =     7f - 21

Now add them together:

-6f + 3 + 7f - 21 =     (-6f+ 7f)  +  (3-21)   =  f -19

Simplify the following:
3 (1-2 f)+7 (f-3)

3 (1-2 f) = 3-6 f:
3-6 f+7 (f-3)

7 (f-3) = 7 f-21:
7 f-21-6 f+3

Grouping like terms, 7 f-6 f-21+3 = (7 f-6 f)+(3-21):
(7 f-6 f)+(3-21)

7 f-6 f = f:
f+(3-21)

3-21 = -18:
Answer: |   f -18

Agree with Guest 2    I made a typo

f-18   NOT f-19

Use the distributive property to multiply through both of the terms then simplify:

3(-2f+1)  =    -6f +3

7(f-3)     =     7f - 21

Now add them together:

-6f + 3 + 7f - 21 =  f -19
