You need to say something like.
The train went from stopped to 90mph in 5 minutes or something - you need a time frame. :)
+36919 Agree with Melody.... ACELLERATION is a CHANGE in VELOCITY (over time).... all your problem has given is a constant velocity.
The train needs to be SLOWING (negative acceleration) or SPEEDING UP (positive acceleration) OR going around a curve.
