The volume of water in Tank A = (3/4)(12)(25)(20) = 4500cm^3

And the base area of  Tank A -= 12 * 25  =  300 cm^3

And since the base area of Tank B is twice that of Tank A, its capacity is (600)cm^3

And we want to know this :

300h + 600h = 4500     where h is the equal height of water in both tanks

900h = 4500    divide by 800 on both sides

h = 5cm

cool cool cool
