Let x be the number that she baked.....and we have

 

[3/5]x   = (1/4)[2/5]x + 200  simplify

 

(3/5)x = (2/20)x + 200

 

(6/10)x = (1/10)x = 200      subtract  (1/10x ) from both sides

 

(5/10)x = 200

 

(1/2)x  = 200    multiply both sides by 2

 

x = 400
