my science book says to use the "inv" key when adding vectors but no calculator I have has that, do I need a special calculator or is it under a different symbol?

I'm not familiar with any key that adds/subtracts vectors.....but.....you really don't need one, anyway......when adding or subtracting vectors, we just sum (or subtract) their respective components....for instance....

 cool

 < 1, 2 >  +  < 5, 7 >   =   < 6, 9 >

And

< 7, 3 >  -  < 10, 13 >   =  < -3, -10 >

Does that make sense  ???

cool cool
