Here's the first one

Let x be the number of  25 centavo coins

And   2x - 9  = the number of 5 peso coins.....and a peso is worth 100 centavos.....so 5 pesos = 500 centavos

And 129.25 pesos = 12925 centavos....and we have....

25x +  500 (2x - 9)  = 12925     simplify

25x + 1000x - 4500 = 12925

1025x =  17425    divide both sides by 1025

x = 17        this is the number of 25 centavo coins

2(17)  - 9   =  34 - 9   = 25  this is the number of 5 peso coins

cool cool cool

2. Mang Asyong sells sago in 4 kilo and 3 kilo containers. with much demand for sago he sold 30 containers containing 100 kilos. how many of each type did he sell?

Let

x be the number of 4kg containers and

y be the number of 3Kg containers

4x+3y=100      and    x+y=30

Can you take it from there?

Let

F be the number of fiftties and

H be the number of hundreds

F+H=117

100H+50F=9950

Can you take it from there :)
