I'm at a lost when it comes to complex numbers, assistance would be beyond awesome.
Putting the operation and expressing it into rectangular and polar forms..
(3.43e^1.59j)^2

when you have z = r e i theta
then z 2 = r 2 e i(2 theta)

so in this case

(3.43 e i 1.59) 2 = (3.43) 2 e i(2*1.59)

3.43^2 =
2 * 1.59 =

so (3.43 e i 1.59) 2 = 11.7649 e i 3.18
