Thanks for the response last time.

This time I have no clue what to do though :P

z is inversely proportional to x

x=3 when z=2

Show that z=cy(to the power of n) where c and n are numbers, and c>0

I have a constant of 18, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Am I overlooking something here?

Almost forgot, you need to find the values of c and n

I think some info is missing in your problem or you have misstyped something.

The question is part b of another, where y is directly proportional to x squared

x=2 when y=36

Agree with Guest.......you start off with z and x, but then, you have the equation  z = cyn

(?????)

cool cool cool

Thats what I thought I was overlooking: that is what the question explicitly states. I was confused when I saw it too, so I'm guessing its a typo in the question. I thought there was more meaning behind the c and n, as it says find the value of both
