Hello, I was wondering if someone can help me on this problem.
4x + 2(x + 6) = 36
I tried this problem and I got 9, but I am pretty sure that is incorrect.
Expand L side to get
4x + 2x+12 = 36 subtract 12 from both sides, combine 'x' terms
6x = 24 divide by 6
x = 4
