My textbook says that the answer to tan^1 .345 is 19 degrees, can you tell me how I can figure this out myself using a calculator?

The forum calc uses $$atan\;1.345$$  but a more common notation (meaning exactly the same thing) is    $$tan^{-1}1.345$$

Please note: the forum calc is on the home page.

Go to the onsite calculator....hit the "2nd" key.......then hit the "atan" key and type in .345. Then, hit the "=" key and you will see your result.

you have to use a scientific calculator to know this value.
you can also know this value in your computer by using preinstalled calculator in your windows.
just go to start, type calculator "hit enter". in the toolbar select scientific calcualtor and enter your desired calculations.
