(-1)^2 = 1:

Put 9/10-3/2+3+2/5 over the common denominator 10. 9/10-3/2+3+2/5  =  9/10+(5 (-3))/10+(10×3)/10+(2×2)/10:

5 (-3)  =  -15:
9/10+-15/10+(10×3)/10+(2×2)/10
