Hey melody ! My teacher emails me a problem every now and then and this one she gave me, looks exactly as it does on here. Thing is....dont make fun of me I don't know how to read the symbols. My last school i was at sadly never taught math so now im stuck doing problems on the email because my teacher (Tutor) is on early winter vacation! My head is going to explode and I cant do it, and ive copied and pasted the problem to the calculators and it says error

I wouldn't make fun of you.
Maybe the reason the calculator gave you an error is the + sign just before the equal sign. That doesn't make sense because there is nothing more added.
so the question becomes
20134/2 *34-45+98=

The / means 'divided by'

The * means multiply

Does that sort out all of your problems ?
