Which graph represents f(x)=−2cos(4πx) ?

Notice that when x  = 0, we have that

 

f(0)  =  -2cos(4pi * 0 )  =   -2 cos (0)  =  - 2 (1)   = -2

 

So....notice that the second graph is the only  one  that contains the point  (0 , -2)
