y intercept.....let x = 0 and we have 1 / [ 0 - 3] = -1/3
x intercept...let y = 0 and we have that 0 = 1 / [ x - 3] multiply both sides by x - 3 and we get that
0 = 1......so.....there is no x intercept
Vertical asymptote.....set x - 3 = 0
Add 3 to both sides
x = 3 ⇒ the vertical asymptote
For g(x)
y intercept = 0
x intercept = 0
Vertical asymptote ⇒ x = 4
