Justin was in trouble. He had used all of his father's masking tape to put his baseball bat back together. Now his father needed the tape and, to make it worse, his bat was falling apart again! His father told Justin since he had used one-fifth of his tape, he could pay one-fifth of the cost of a new roll. If the new roll of tape costs $1.63, how much will Justin have to pay?

Given That

Amount of tape used by Justin = 1/5 of tape

Cost of a new tape = $1.63

To find

The amount will have to pay by Justin to his

father.

Since Justin used 1/5th of tape. Hence,

The cost of 1/5 Part of tape

                    = $1.63/5 = $0.326

∴ The amount will have to pay by Justin = $0.326
