Just multiply the two numbers together and you will get this enormous number,

=17046200000000000000=1.70462 X 10^19 miles to the Andromeda galaxy.

(2.9  x 10^6)  (5.878 x 10^12)  = 17,046,200,000,000,000,000  miles =  1.70462 x 1019  miles
