A prop for our play is constructed as a cone topped with a half-sphere. What is the volume of the prop? Round your answer to the nearest tenth of a cubic inch. Use 3.14 to approximate pi.

#1**+1 **

Volume of the cone = 1/3 pi r^2 h r = 9 h = 14

Volume of a sphere = 4/3 pi r^3 you only need 1/2 of this so 1/2 4/3 pi r^3 = 4/6 pi r^3 r = 9

add them together
