Sq(2x+1) + Sq(6x+9) = 14

Solve for x... help anybody?

First start be squaring both sides. Then after that you will need to isolate the radical term that will be left. Again squaring both sides to eliminate the radical again. Then combine like term and factor to solve for x. Be sure to check both answer (one will not work). I got x=12.
