let the number be represented by x

first one; 2x-3=7 (If 2x is bigger than 3) or 3-2x=7 (if 3 is bigger than 2x)
You can get both these answers in one statement using absolute value

The absolute value of (2x-3) = 7
It is a pity there is no maths type in this forum but you just put 2x-3 between 2 vertical lines to indicate absolute value.

How about you have a go at the others yourself. If it's too hard submit another reply and i will try to help you further.

Hint: Only one of the others needs absolute value signs.
