That would just be 3, unless I'm misunderstanding the question.

 

One thing you could do on a calculator is 9 x (1/3) with the parenthesis around the fraction. That should work, although I dunno what calculator you have.

When you are multiplying fractions you multiply across. Meaning numerator* numerator and denominator * denominator.

 

9 *1 = 9 /3 = 3

thanks xD i have the windows calculator but like, there's no fraction symbol and i freaking suck at fractions. ty ☺♥
