how do you find nth roots without a calculator in a simple way. I'm in Honors 2 algebra and im really struggling. one of our questions being the cubed root of (4x^12) times the cubed root of (2x)
Do you mean the root of a function or equation?

cube root [4x^12] * cube root [2x ] =
cube root [ 4x^12 * 2x ] =
cube root [ 8x^13] =
cube root [ 8 ] * cube root [ x^13] → x^13 = x^12 * x = [ x^3]^4 * x
2 * cube root [ x^3] ^4 * cuberoot [x] =
2 * x^4 * cuberoot [x ]
2x^4*cuberoot[x]
