Hi,

You know how the calculator simplifies square roots into numbers? Well I would love to know how you do the opposite.

I have this number : 2.88675134595, I believe it's equal to 5sqrt(3)/3. On a real scientific calculator you press a button and

the '=' and it does it for you. Does a button like that exist here?

Thanks in advance,

Vanessa

No.....because   5sqrt(3)/3    is a non-rational quantity [ a non-repeating decimal ] .....however, 2.88675134595   IS a rational quantity.....!!!!.......It's just an approximation  of 5sqrt(3)/3

cool cool cool
