What is the remainder when 2+4+6+...+100+102+104 is divided by 7?

2+4+6...+100+102+104 is equal to 10920. The remainder of 10920 divided by 7 is 0. 

So the answer is 0

∑[2 + 4 + 6 + ... + 100 + 102 + 104]==2,756 mod 7==5 - the remainder.

There are: [104 -  2] / 2 + 1 ==52 terms

 

[104 + 2] / 2  * 52 terms ==53 * 52 term ==2,756 mod 7 ==5

Hi abmusical2021,

 

Guest's answer was right and just because you haven't figured it out doesn't mean you have to disqualify someone who has a different solution.

That's not cool. As I said, the guest's answer was correct, yours was not. But everyone makes mistakes.
