1. I am a protector.
I sit on a bridge.
One person can see right through me,
While others wonder what I hide.

2. Every night I'm told what to do,
and each morning I do what I'm told.
Yet I still don't escape your scold.

To lie at your feet,
On a bright sunny day
We're most likely to meet
All day I will follow
