Ok so I'm struggling with these two expressions....
The question is:
Simplify each of the following expressions by collecting like terms
A) 5w + 7w - 10w
B) 7x2 + 4x - x2 - 4x
HELP!
Well, they just basically want you to do the math....
soooo the SECOND one will look like this (you should be able to do the first one after seeing this )
7x^2 + 4x - x^2 -4x
(7x^2 - x^2) + (4x - 4x)
6x^2 + 0 = 6x^2 Do you see how it works? Can you do the firs one now? it is easier.....
