on my ms-805 calculator i put in 15.99+30% it says it = 22.84
but when i put it in on the computer calculator it says it = 20.78
what is wrong with my ms-805
If you just want to increase 15.99 by 30%.......try this.....
15.99 * 1.3 ..... it should give you 20.787

Some calculators thinks 30% = 0.30.
When you do "15.99 + 30%" the calculator thinks "15.99 + 0.30"

Some nimber plus 30% is ambiguous. 30 % of what?
If you want 15.99 + 30% of 15.99
Then ypu should have tje skill to enter this as. 15.99 + 0.30×15.99
