2) Use the trigonometric rule that will help you solve in your problem.

Sin θ = opposite side / hypotenuse

 

3) Plug in your values. 

Sin (60°) = 21 / x

 

4) Solve.

Sin (60°) = 21 / x

√ 3 / 2 = 21 / x

√ 3 x = 21 (2)

√ 3 x = 42

x = 14√ 3 or 24.24871130....
