The lateral surface area (area of the sides) is given by 4*6*5 = 120 sq m
And the total surface area adds the area of the tp and bottom = 2*5^2 = 50 sq m
So the ratio of the lateral surface area to the total surface area = 120/(120 + 50) = 120/170 = 12/17
