Could I get an explanation on this problem? I'm not sure exactly how to find the right equation.

What is the equation of the function shown in the graph, given that the equation of the parent function is f(x)=(1/3)^x ?

Options

g(x)=(1/3)^x−1

g(x)=(1/3)^x+1

g(x)=(1/3)^x+2

g(x)=(1/3)^x−2

Please and thank you! 0^>

The parent function at x = 0   should be  = 1   it is shifted down TWO to -1

and at x = 1 it should be 1/3....it is shifted down TWO

So the last choice looks like it...
