I'm assuming that the only thing throwing you here is the I -2 I. This stands for the "absolute value" of -2 which is just 2. (Really, the distance on the number line that -2 is from 0.....2 units).

The rest should be pretty easy if you're used to adding and subtracting signed numbers.
