P(d)=10^(1.5d) Igbo captured his cat doing something hilarious on video. He felt like this video could be a hit, so he uploaded it to a funny videos website. The number of people, P, who watched the video d days after Igbo uploaded the video can be modeled by the function above. How long will it take the video to achieve 1,000,000 views? Round your answer, if necessary, to 2 decimal places.

P(d)=10^(1.5d)                 so we have

1,000,000 = 10^(1.5d)      we can simplify this problem by writing 1,000,000 as 10^6

So we have

10^6 = 10^(1.5d)             and since we have equal bases, we can solve for the exponents

6 = 1.5d                           divide both sides by 1.5

4 = d

So it will take 4 days to achieve 1,000,000 views
