This question can be done a couple of different ways.

Method 1 Substitution
from the first one you can see that Y=19-X
Replace Y in the second equation with (19-X) and solve for X.
Then substitute the X value into either of the fisrt equations and solve to y.

Method 2 Elimination
Multiply the 1st equation by 2 (both sides) (EQUATION 3)
Subtract equ 3 from equ 2
5X-2X+2Y-2Y = 11-38
solve for X then sub X into one of the original equations and solve for Y
