The diagonals of a quadrilateral bisect each other......therefore....
DC = CU
4x - 7 = 2x + 3
4x - 2x = 3 + 7
2x = 10
x = 10 / 2 = 5
Therefore
DU = 2 DC = 2 ( 4(5) - 7 ) = 2 ( 13) = 26
