Identify the parent function and describe the transformations.

1. f(x) = (4/5)^(x+2)

2. f(x) = -3 * 2^(x-1) + 7

I've tried to work these out myself but I've been stuck for a while now. I'm very confused. Please help and show work because I don't understand this. Thank you.

1.

Parent function: \(f(x) = \left(\dfrac{4}5{}\right)^x\\\)

Transformation: Vertical compression with a factor of 16/25.

2.

Parent function: \(f(x) = 2^x\)

Transformation: Reflect along x-axis, vertical stretch with a factor of 3/2, then translation upwards by 7 units.
