John's tomato plant grey 250% of its original size in 3 months. How can he represent the percent using a diagram and in words or numbers?

Note that the language is confusing.......

If the plant grew 100% of its original size, it would have doubled in size

If it grew 200% of its original size it would have tripled in size

So, 250% of its original size would mean the plant grew 3 + 1/2 times its original size....

It got 2 and a half times bigger and you can draw the plant. :)
