We are making a juice. It contains 30% cherry juice, 60% orange juice and 10% water. Unfortunately, the prices have risen. The price of the cherry juice went up by 20% and price of the orange has risen up by 25%. By how many percent has the price risen overall?

The percents  of the  mixture  don't matter.......the same mixture percents will  be  used  no matter  what  their cost

If P  was  the price  before the increases

After the increases  the price  is   P (1.2)(1.25)   = 1.5P

So   the  price  has  increased   by 50%
