Okay so the problem is ab=b/4. I know to divide both sides by b and I get a=1/4. I also know the b on the left side is canceled out due to division but what happened to the b on the right?
You divide both sides over b, or you can also say that you multiply both sides by 1/b multiply directly and you will see more clearly why the B's cancel each other
