How do we find the perimeter of a composite shape?

First we find the arc length and then use the rule:

P=l*2r.

Or am I wrong? My textbook is not too clear about it.

A composite shape is just more than one shape put together.

A perimeter is just the distance around the outside.

There is no set formula.  It depends on what the shapes are. :)
