A peregrine falcon in a tight, circular turn can attain a centripetal acceleration 1.5 times the free-fall acceleration. If the falcon is flying at 20 m/s , what is the radius of the turn?

\(ac = 1.5*9.81 \)

\(ac = 14.715 \frac{m}{s^2}\)

\(v = 20 \frac{m}{s}\)

\(ac = \frac{v^2}{R}\)

\(R = \frac{v^2}{ac}\)

\(R = \frac{20^2}{14.715}\)

\(R = 27.2 m\)
