SO this is the problem:
How much work did the movers do (horizontally) pushing a 150 kg body 12.3 m. across a rough floor without acceleration if the coefficient of friction was 0.73?

majintel:

the coefficient of friction was 0.73?

0.73 = Fr/Fn
Fn = 9.81m/s^2 * 150kg = 1471.5Newton (normal force)
Fr = 0.73 * 1471.5N = 1074.195N (friction force)

W = Fr * distance = 1074.195N * 12.3m = 13212.5985 Joule
