(a, b)   (a + 3, b+ 3)

 

The slope is     [  b + 3 - b ]  / [ a + 3 - a ]   =  3 / 3   =  1

 

Point-slope form

 

y - b  =  1 ( x - a)

 

Slope-intercept form

 

y  = x - a + b

 

Or

 

y =  x + (b - a)
