 Slope of  the line = (-2 - 7)  / (3 - 1) =  -9 / 2

Equation of  this  line  is

y  = (-9/2) ( x - -1) + 7

y  = (-9/2)  ( x + 1)  + 7

y = -(9/2)x  - 9/2  + 14/2

y = -(9/2)x  + 5/4

When  x  = - 6

y =  -(9/2)(-6)  + 5/4

y = 54/2  + 5/4

y  = 113/4
