Please put different questions on different posts.

I have no idea what the 'opposite' of a number is...

3. Simplify: y^-7x^3zx^-1y^7z^-4

\(y^{-7}x^{3}zx^{-1}y^7z^{-4}\\ =y^{-7}y^7x^{3}x^{-1}z^{-4}z^1\\ =y^{-7+7}x^{3+-1}z^{-4+1}\\ =y^{0}x^{2}z^{-3}\\ =1x^{2}z^{-3}\\ =x^{2}z^{-3}\\ =\dfrac{x^2}{z^3}\)

1.   The 'opposite' of a number is it's negative  ....so we have....

7N  =  −N + 56      add N to both sides

8N  = 56   divide both sides by 8

N  = 7

Proof

7(7)  = −7 + 56

49  = 49
