And we have two triangles each with a base of 6 and a height of 4

Well lets see
7 x 5=35
7 x 6=42
6 x 4=24
6x4=24
Now we add all this up so
35+35+42+24+24 = 160
Tell me if I have to divided any by 1/2 please!

Remember that the area of a triangle = (1/2) base * height
Refigure the areas of the two triangles
129 would be the answer

Area of rectangles = 112
Area of triangles = (1/2) (24 + 24 )
