midpoint of  (4, -7)  and  (-3, 5)   =   \((\frac{{\color{red}4}+{\color{purple}-3}}{2},\frac{{\color{green}-7}+{\color{blue}5}}{2})\)   =   \((\frac12,\frac{-2}{2})\)   =   \((0.5,-1)\)
