in a parallelgram KLMN, KM=LN, m<KLM= 2xy, and m<LMN= 9x=9. Find the vaule of y

Since this is a parallelogram and KM = LN, this must be a rectangle (at least) with each corner angle = 90 degrees

And consecutive angles in a parallelogram are supplemental - they add to 180 degrees

Therefore, <KLM and <LMN  = 180

 {I think you must mean that <LMN = 90 = 9x.....therefore x = 10}

So we have

2xy + 9x = 180

2(10)y + 90 = 180

20y = 90      

y = 90/20 = 9/2 = 4.5
